Often times SERVPRO will have air samples taken. These samples identify the type of mold spore present and their concentration. These spores are reproductive spores as opposed to dormant spores. Pinpointing the type of mold present with a spore sample makes it that much easier for remediation experts to figure out the best possible approach to tackling this problem.
